Meet Paula Hilbert

Hi!  Here’s the short version:  I am a wife, mother, grandmother, a traveling nurse, and an Entrepreneur who LOVES to travel.

So, let’s get a little more detailed, because the journey is pretty interesting.  At least I think it is!

I live in Ocala, Florida with my husband and our animals – two dogs, a cat, and a bird.  Currently, our youngest son and his girlfriend and their kitten have just moved back in, just long enough to get on their feet.  My hobbies are gardening and cooking, and I love to ride bicycles and enjoy a good movie with my family.  I have three grown children and to date, one grandson, Ben who is 17 at this writing, and Jocelyn who will be 3 this November.  The sun rises and sets on these children.   They are my world!

I transitioned into Healthcare from a successful career in computer operations and engineering in 1996, and began studying Complementary and Alternative Medicine in 2000. I am certified in Natural Health through Tree of Light Institute, and as a Nutrition Specialist through Ashworth University.  Graduated Summa Cum Laude from Kaplan University in 2011 with a Bachelor of Science in Health and Wellness, and a Master of Science in Health Education in 2015.  I received the Certified Health Education Specialist (CHES) Certification in December 2013, which is a PRETTY BIG DEAL! I had to have enough college credits to sit for the exam, which is equivalent to the NCLEX exam for Registered Nursing in the degree of complexity, and is higher on the chain than an RN.

I have 100’s of people find better Wellness through Education and Nutrition, often helping reduce or eliminate the need for prescription medications and/or surgery.  The Coordinator of the Results Project-Orlando Chapter, I worked alongside Steven Plog for eight years, teaching parents of ADD/ADHD, Bi-polar and Autistic children how to find the Root Causes of their child’s symptoms, help eliminate them, and often help the parent get their child off some, or all prescription medications.  Through my work with the Results Project, I have been on several radio programs, held several fund-raisers for medically needy and medically fragile children, and sponsored several of clients in health related documentaries as well as the local news.

My career goals are to help others find better health and wellness in natural and holistic methods, including prevention.  My field of interest lies in heart and diabetes, and mental health.  I plan to continue to pursue the work I started in 2004 to help learning disabled children, children labeled with mental health disorders such as ADD or ADHD and others, and the underserved children.  Mental health disorders have been on the rise in the past 50 years, and teaching these children and their parents how to live happy, healthy and successful and to do it prescription drug free will, I hope, help raise a new generation of children free of the stigma we are experiencing today – including the horrible mass shootings we are seeing.
